Jon Haughton is a seasoned professional in sports management with extensive experience in buying, coaching, and brand management. Currently serving as a Senior Buyer for sports clothing and footwear at takealot.com since July 2019, Jon also holds the position of Department Manager for Sports. With a background in coaching, Jon has been actively involved with the Western Province Cricket Club as the coach for the Men's and Ladies 2nd Hockey Teams. Previous roles include Brand Manager at Brand Identity, where Jon managed various well-known sports brands in the Sub-Saharan market, and multiple coaching positions across prestigious institutions including St Stithians College and the University of the Witwatersrand. Jon holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Sports Management from the University of Johannesburg and has furthered expertise with an Advanced Sports and Exercise Nutritional Advisor certification.
