Dr. Mumtaaz Hussayn has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Dr. Mumtaaz is currently the Head of Medical Audit & Cost Optimization at Takaful Emarat-Insurance. Their previous roles include General Manager Operations and Assistant General Manager at TPA Dubai, Technical Manager at MedNet UAE, and Assistant Manager at Alliance Insurance. Dr. Mumtaaz also worked as a Project Assistant at Arabian Healthcare LLC and as an Assistant Medical Superintendent at Rockland Hospital and Majeedia Hospital. In these roles, Dr. Hussayn demonstrated their expertise in managing operations, developing business prospects, underwriting decisions, and implementing policies and protocols. Dr. Mumtaaz also had responsibilities in human resource management, inventory management, and negotiations with healthcare providers and insurance companies.

Dr. Mumtaaz Hussayn pursued their Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at Ambedkar Medical College in Bangalore, India, completing their studies in 1999. Afterward, they furthered their education by obtaining an MBA in Healthcare Management from the Indian Institute of Health Management & Research, where they studied from 2002 to 2004.
