Parker Higgins is a seasoned advocate and developer in the fields of technology and digital rights, currently serving as a Developer Advocate at Tailscale since November 2022. Previously, Parker held various leadership roles at the Freedom Of The Press Foundation, including Director Of Advocacy and Director Of Special Projects, and contributed to the Electronic Frontier Foundation as Director of Copyright Activism. Parker also worked as a campaign strategist for Pardon Snowden, focusing on advocacy for Edward Snowden's pardon. Other experience includes community management at SoundCloud, social media marketing internships at The New York Times, and various roles in free culture organizations. Parker earned a B.A. from New York University with a focus on creativity, freedom of speech, and intellectual property.
