John J. Ying currently serves as Managing Director at Peak Capital and is a Member of the Board of Directors at Tai Ping Carpets, both roles held since 1999. Ying has been Chairman Emeritus of The Hong Kong Ballet since 2003 and previously held the position of Chairman at Bracell Limited from 2010 until November 2016. Prior experience includes Managing Director roles at Arctic Capital and The Carlyle Group, as well as serving as Director at Merrill Lynch & Co. John J. Ying holds an MBA in Finance and an MA in International Studies from The Wharton School and The Lauder Institute respectively, in addition to an S.B. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
