Mara Connolly Taft is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in creative direction and communications. After co-founding Taft Communications in 1983, Mara held various roles, including Board Member and Creative Director Emerita, demonstrating a sustained commitment to the agency's growth and vision. Prior to this venture, Mara served as Executive Vice President and Creative Director at Taft, Ltd. and MaraMari, and worked as a creative consultant at McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals on the Splenda brand. Mara's earlier career included significant positions at prominent advertising agencies such as Foote, Cone & Belding, Wells, Rich, Greene, and Young & Rubicam. Educationally, Mara holds a Bachelor's degree in Medieval English from Smith College and pursued studies in 3-D Design and Landscape Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania.
