Austen VanSchulz has a wide range of work experience in various industries. Austen started their career as a Quality Assurance Software Engineering Intern at Cognex Corporation in 2008 and then worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Pierce Manufacturing in 2010. Following that, they served as a Chemistry Assistant at the Nanotechnology Center for Collaborative R&D where they built and maintained scientific instruments and conducted material science experiments. Austen then joined Nicklaus Machine Co as a Machinist and Electrical Tech, and was responsible for operating and maintaining machinery. Later, they worked at Ohio Valley Testing as a Service Engineer, where they organized logistical and equipment operations, wrote technical reports, and developed test instruments and industrial devices. Austen then moved to Novatek as a Software & Electrical R&D Engineer, where they were involved in new product development, integration of sensors, and building app interfaces and databases. Their most recent role was as a Software Engineer at Tafi, where they built server backend, databases, and web frontends for virtual reality apps. Throughout their career, Austen has demonstrated their ability to develop new products, work with various technologies, and contribute to the success of companies.

Austen VanSchulz obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.
