Lisa McDonald, Ph.D., is an experienced academic and consultant, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) at TAFE SA since February 2018 and as the Founder and Principal Consultant of Lisa McDonald & Associates since August 2016. Previous roles include Vice Chair of the Horse Federation of South Australia Inc. and Chair of Horse SA, where significant contributions were made to support the horse community and advocate for its cultural significance. McDonald's academic career spans various institutions, including the University of Southern Queensland, where Lisa was a Mid-Career Research Fellow focused on digital futures and their socio-political implications. McDonald holds a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies and has qualifications in Teaching English as a Second Language, reflecting a strong foundation in education and research within cultural and community contexts.
