Director Of Facilities at Tacoma Public Schools

Thomas Chalk, FMP, currently serves as the Director of Facilities at Tacoma Public Schools since February 2018, where responsibilities include implementing the District's mission and establishing performance metrics to enhance the efficiency of Facilities and Sustainability Programs. Previously, Thomas has held roles such as Maintenance Manager at Tacoma Public Schools, Director of Facilities, Maintenance and Supplies at Hughes Group LLC, and Director of Operations at Government Contracting Services LLC. Notable experience also includes managing a $120 million lumber distribution center at Weyerhaeuser and leadership positions in logistics while serving in the United States Air Force. Thomas holds a Master's degree in Administration from Central Michigan University, alongside degrees in Logistics and Vocational Education from other institutions.
