Kathrin Rösch began their work experience in 2017 as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Gladstone Institutes, where they focused on developing a mixed intestinal:immune cell organoid model to study the epithelial barrier and T-cell function in HIV infection. Kathrin also characterized organoid cultures derived from HIV +/- individuals using scRNA seq, confocal microscopy, and light sheet microscopy. In 2019, they joined Karolinska institutet as a Postdoctoral Researcher for a few months. Currently, they serve as the Head of Cell Biology at Tacalyx GmbH.
Kathrin Rösch pursued their education in the field of virology, obtaining a Ph.D. from the University of Hamburg between 2011 and 2016. Prior to their doctoral studies, they completed a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Technische Universität Braunschweig. However, no specific dates are provided for their Master's degree.
