Rory Ellis has a wide range of work experience, beginning with a Retail Sales Associate position at Orlando Harley Davidson in 2005. In 2006, they moved to Dallas Harley-Davidson, where they worked as a Motorcycle Technician. In 2008, they became a Business Development Manager at Ellipse Communications, Inc. In 2010, they joined ReachLocal as an Internet Marketing Consultant, National Brands and Franchises. From 2011 to 2020, they held a variety of roles at Splash Media, Splash Media U, Dallas Food Nerd, and General Assembly. Most recently, they have been a Full Stack Software Engineer at T2 Modus since 2020, where they have identified opportunities for process automation and development of new application features to transition a client-services focused organization into a scalable and more effective self-serve SAAS application.

Rory Ellis recently completed a Software Engineering Immersive Course at General Assembly in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Certification from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in 2007 in the field of Technical. Additionally, Rory obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July of 2020.
