Chris Milner, PE, PTOE, RSP1 has a diverse range of work experience. Chris started their career at HGM Associates in 2001 as an Assistant Inspector. Chris then worked at Hawkins Construction Company in 2003 as a Construction Laborer. In 2004, they served as the Recruitment Chairman at Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, where they developed and implemented a recruitment strategy. In 2005, they interned at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. Chris then joined Kimley-Horn and Associates as an Engineer from 2006 to 2012. Chris worked as a Civil Engineer at Shive-Hattery from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they joined T.Y. Lin International as a Principal Project Manager, where they currently work. Additionally, Chris has taken on leadership roles in professional organizations. Chris was a Program Committee Member for the Arizona Chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers in 2015. Chris has also held various positions with the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals, including Chair since 2016 and Arizona Bicycling Summit Chair since 2018.
Chris Milner, PE, PTOE, RSP1 attended Iowa State University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Abraham Lincoln High School. In addition to their education, Chris has obtained several certifications including Smart Cycling from the League of American Bicyclists in 2019, Road Safety Professional from the Transportation Professional Certification Board Inc. in 2018, and a Licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states.
