Mohamed AbouGhazala is an experienced professional in the fields of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Experiences, currently serving as a Working Student at T-Systems International and a Research Assistant at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI). Prior roles include Augmented Reality Engineer at BMW Group, where significant contributions were made to hand tracking methods, interactive training with haptic feedback, and the development of an object tracking application for quality assessments. Additional experience includes research at the University of Bremen, a co-founder role at We Augment, and a Web AR Engineer position at Amlogy. Mohamed holds a Master’s degree in Media Informatics from Universität des Saarlandes and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from The German University in Cairo.
