Julia Okatz currently serves as Director of Natural Resources and Climate (Urban) at Systemiq Ltd., focusing on sustainable investing, circular economy, and global governance. Julia has extensive experience in strategic development and policy translation in the climate sector, previously working as an Executive Advisor at the Instituto Clima e Sociedade and as Assistant to the Director at the Latin American Regional Climate Initiative. Julia's earlier roles include Project Manager and Intern at :response, where significant events such as the Jugendempfang des bayerischen Ministerpräsidenten were co-organized. Julia holds a Postgraduate Degree in Sustainable Built Environment from the University of Cambridge, a Master’s Degree in Global Politics from The London School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural and Business Studies from the University of Mannheim, complemented by a course in Politics, History, and Literature from Universidad de Deusto.
