Bernd Eggert is a seasoned networking professional with extensive experience in network engineering and management. Currently serving as a Senior Network Engineer at Systal Technology Solutions since February 2022, Bernd specializes in implementing network projects involving Checkpoint Firewalls and F5 Loadbalancers, offering customized solutions and supporting network architects. Prior to this role, Bernd worked at AT&T from July 2008 to January 2022, overseeing network projects as part of IBM's IT outsourcing, which included the implementation of firewall environments and load balancers. Bernd's career began at IBM from September 2003 to June 2008 as a Network Engineer, delivering various network solutions, and earlier experience includes a tenure at ABB from August 1991 to August 2003 as a Senior Application Manager and Network Specialist, focusing on DNS, IP Address Management, and network infrastructure.
