Majid Latif serves as the Global Head of Data Science at Sysco since March 2017, previously holding positions as Director of Data Science and Applied Data Scientist within the same organization. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Houston from August 2013 to August 2017, along with a fellowship at Sandia National Laboratories as part of the DOE Office of Science Graduate Student Research Program from January to June 2016. Majid Latif earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Houston (2013-2017), a Master of Science in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Dallas (2012-2014), and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Houston (2008-2012).
