Valerio Mazzone is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Syntheticus, where responsibilities include driving technological innovation in synthetic data for AI and ML advancements and contributing to strategic direction and coding efforts. Previously, Valerio was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Zurich from July 2019 to October 2023 and a PhD Researcher at KAUST from August 2014 to June 2019. Earlier experience includes a role as an Electrical Engineer at Project Europa srl from September 2006 to July 2014, focusing on the design and calculation of power electric systems and CAD drawings. Valerio holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KAUST and a Laurea Specialistica in Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma.
