Mina A Khoei is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as the Director of AI Algorithms and Applications at SynSense since March 2022. Previously, Mina held roles as a Senior Algorithms/ML Applications Engineer at SynSense and an AI/ML Instructor at DeepHoosh, where responsibilities included content creation for online seminars and educational courses. At GrAI Matter Labs, from June 2018 to July 2021, Mina led design and development efforts for AI applications focused on ultra-low power hardware. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at UPMC - Sorbonne Universities, conducting research on event-based cameras and vision restoration technologies, and a PhD research assistantship at CNRS. Mina holds a PhD in Computational Neuroscience from Aix-Marseille University and a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.
