Caleb Mathis has an extensive work experience, starting with a Chemical Process Engineer Co-op at ExxonMobil in 2013. Caleb then worked as a Chemical Process Engineer Intern at Chevron in 2014 and 2015. In 2016, they moved to Tennessee Valley Authority as a Cyber Security. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Principal Researcher at Dragos, Inc. and then as a Software Engineer at Strategic Technologies Analytics Group - STAG. Currently, they are working as a Chief Engineering Officer at BLACK OWL CORP, LLC and as a Principal Content Engineer at SynSaber.

Caleb Mathis attended Mississippi State University from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. In addition, they obtained certifications from CompTIA (Network +, obtained in November 2016), SANS Institute (GICSP, obtained in August 2017), and GIAC (Security Essentials (GSEC), obtained in July 2016).
