Heather Tharpe has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Heather started their career in 1998 as a Rental Agent at AAA Self Storage & Commercial Warehouse, where they handled unit rental contracts and maintained rental files. In 2000, they joined Staffing Solutions as a Payroll Administrative Assistant before moving on to Synovus in 2002. At Synovus, they held various roles, including Project/Admin. Assistant II, Learning Solutions Coordinator, Learning Project Analyst, and currently, they are serving as the Learning Program Analyst Lead. During their time at Synovus, Heather also took on additional responsibilities such as being a freelance writer for the company magazine and serving as a payroll systems administrator. In 2008, they briefly worked at For All Nations Church, where they served as the Worship Director and later, Church Administrator. Overall, Heather Tharpe brings a wealth of experience in administrative, project coordination, and learning program analysis roles.
Heather Tharpe has a Diploma in Business and Office Technology, which they obtained from Columbus Technical College from 1998 to 2000. During the same period, they also earned an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science from the same institution. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the People Analytics Program at the Josh Bersin Academy in May 2023 and became a Smartsheet Product Certified User in July 2020.
