Sr HMDA Compliance Analyst at Synovus

Charlotte Burton, MSW, has extensive experience in compliance and social work, currently serving as a Sr HMDA Compliance Analyst at Synovus since 1998. Responsibilities include preparing HMDA/CRA loan application reporting, conducting root cause analyses, validating loan file data for accuracy, and assessing fair lending risks. Charlotte also supports compliance efforts through regional collaboration and serves as a backup in various compliance areas. As a Court Appointed Special Advocate with Chattahoochee CASA since August 2012, advocacy for juvenile cases was successfully achieved, closing out nine cases. Additionally, Charlotte worked as a Social Worker at the Women and Childrenā€™s Center, managing operations and client services. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from Troy University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Troy University.
