Gao Tu is a highly experienced Staff Hardware Engineer with a robust background in hardware design and development, currently leading a team at Synopsys Inc. since August 2018, focusing on advanced IC design emulation systems. Prior roles include Staff Hardware Development Engineer at VIAVI Solutions, where Gao managed the development of PCIe Gen4 Interposers, and Senior HW/FPGA Engineer at Knowles Corporation, providing technical leadership for intelligent microphone projects. Previous experiences also include significant contributions at Pace, 2 Wire, Altera, Silver Creek Consulting, Inkra Networks, and LSI Corporation, covering various aspects of hardware design and ASIC development. Gao Tu holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from San Jose State University.
