Svp, Strategic Products And Business Development at Syniverse

Phil Celestini has an extensive work experience in security, law enforcement, and strategic products. Phil is currently serving as the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Strategic Products and Business Development at Syniverse. Prior to this role, they were the SVP and Chief Security and Risk Officer at the same company.

Before joining Syniverse, Phil worked in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) where they held various roles such as Special Agent in Charge, Section Chief of the Cyber Division, Assistant Special Agent in Charge, Supervisory Senior Resident Agent, and Supervisory Special Agent in the Joint Terrorism Task Force. Phil was also a Director for Combating Terrorism at the National Security Council and the Director for Counterterrorism Policy at the Homeland Security Council in The White House.

In addition, they served as an Adjunct Faculty at the National Defense University and held positions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Air Force. Throughout their career, Phil demonstrated strong leadership abilities and expertise in combating terrorism, cybersecurity, and crisis management.

Phil Celestini has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Military History from the United States Air Force Academy, obtained in 1986. Phil also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) with Distinction in Public Safety Leadership from Capella University, obtained in 2012. In 2006, Phil received a Graduate Certificate in Navigating Strategic Change from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Phil has additional certifications such as ITPM - Insider Threat Program Manager, GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP), GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC), GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF), FBI Intelligence Officer Certification, Crisis Management Coordinator, Joint Duty Certification, and Firearms Instructor.
