Eugenia Tang is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality management and plant pathology, currently serving as the Starter Material Lead at Syngenta since February 2019. In this role, responsibilities include managing the Starter Material team, overseeing supply chain requests, and coaching team members for development. Previously, as a Phytosanitary and Quality Specialist, Eugenia managed quality management systems, conducted non-conformity investigations, and ensured compliance with phytosanitary rules. Eugenia also served as a Quality Management Steward, leading audit processes and ensuring compliance with plant quality certification programs. Prior experience includes being an R&D Scientist at Germains Seed Technology, where innovative seed treatment processes were developed. Eugenia holds a Master's degree in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology and a Bachelor's degree in Plant Molecular Biology, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
