Bishawjit “Bishaw” Das is a Synergos Consulting Associate focused on partnership-building in Bangladesh. He has deep experience as a journalist, independent filmmaker, and researcher, bringing a diverse background in economic and social development throughout Bangladesh. Bishaw operates effectively within Bangladeshi society, with the capacity to engage with a broad range of stakeholders including business, government, civil society, and local communities. In addition to his role with Synergos, Bishaw has worked on global supply chain projects examining Bangladesh’s garment industry with NYU’s Stern School of Business. He has directed and produced documentary material for BBC Media Action and Al-Jazeera. He has also consulted with other international NGOs, including ILO, Oxfam, ActionAid, and GIZ.
