Kenneth F. Meyers is an independent director who joined the Board in October 2016, and is the Chair of the Compensation and Management Development Committee and a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Mr. Meyers currently serves as Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer at Hillrom (NYSE:HRC), a global medical technology company, a position he has held since December 2020. He is also an executive and team coach at Ken Meyers Associates LLC, an executive coaching firm he founded in 2021. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Hillrom from 2015 to 2020, and prior to that held the same role at Hospira, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of generic injectable pharmaceuticals, biosimilars and medical devices, from 2008 until its acquisition by Pfizer, Inc. in 2015. From 2004 to 2008, Mr. Meyers was a partner with Mercer/Oliver Wyman, a consulting firm specializing in leadership development. He also has served in senior human resources roles for Starbucks Coffee International, The Gymboree Corporation, Walt Disney Imagineering and United Technologies Corporation.
Mr. Meyers serves on the board of directors and the Nominating Committee for Elyssa’s Mission, a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to preventing teen suicide. He also is a member of the board of directors and Chair of the Compensation Committee for The Henry P. Kendall Foundation, an organization working to create healthy and sustainable food systems in New England, and a member of the board of directors of The Norfolk Charitable Foundation. Mr. Meyers holds a Bachelor’s degree with dual majors in International Business and Human Resource Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
