Jim Barrett is a seasoned professional in the IT consultancy and financial services sectors, currently serving as Director of Technical Consulting at Synechron since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Citihub Digital, where Jim was an Associate Partner focusing on delivering complex IT solutions to leading financial institutions, as well as a Vice President at Barclays Capital, managing global virtualization strategies. Jim also held the position of International Windows Infrastructure Manager at Commerzbank and was a Senior Support Analyst at Merrill Lynch, specializing in trading floor support. Educational credentials include a B.Eng in Electronic Engineering and Communications from Swansea University, complemented by A-Levels and GCSEs from Bristol Grammar School.
