Ben Cameron currently serves as the Chief Electoral Officer for the Syndicat étudiant de l'Université d'Ottawa since October 2024. Previously, Ben was the Chair of the Indigenous Student Trustees Council at OSTA-AECO from August 2022 to July 2024, where Ben advocated for Indigenous education and inclusion as part of the Leadership Team of this significant student organization in Ontario. Additionally, Ben held the position of Student Trustee and Golden Horseshoe Representative for the Durham District School Board during the same timeframe, representing the interests of 77,000 students and promoting equity in public education. Ben is pursuing an education at the University of Ottawa from August 2024 to December 2028, having completed studies at Dunbarton High School in June 2024.
