Chelsea Ortega PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS is a board-certified sports physical therapist and Regional Director at Evolution Physical Therapy and Fitness. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Sciences from UCLA in 2011 where she competed in NCAA Division I Rowing. Chelsea earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2015 from Duke University while also becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She completed her Sports Physical Therapy Residency at Ben Hogan Sports Medicine in 2016 and became a Board-Certified Sports Specialist in 2017. Over the years, Chelsea has worked with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes from a variety of sports including football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse. She specializes in concussion rehabilitation as well as return to sport activities. Chelsea served as the Physical Therapist and Strength and Conditioning Coach for the WNBA Las Vegas Aces for the 2021 Season and currently serves as a physical therapist and brain health specialist for the Premier Lacrosse League. Chelsea enjoys working with athletes and is passionate about bridging the gap between rehabilitation and sports performance. She has presented and taught at national conferences and is the Co-Owner of Clinic to Field Physical Therapy, a continuing education platform focusing on Concussion Education.
