Karen Young, MBA, CISM, PMP, currently serves as Senior Vice President of Identity and Access Management at Synchrony, overseeing the IAM program and operations. Concurrently, Karen is an Advisory Board Member for the College of CyberSecurity and Information Technology at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at SECU, where Karen established an enterprise IAM program, and at Wells Fargo, leading a governance group focused on enterprise access risk remediation. Karen also held the position of Senior Vice President at Bank of America, managing IAM security policy and technology solutions. Karen's career began as a Financial Systems Analyst at Merrill Lynch Insurance Group after earning a BS in Business Management and an MBA in Information Technology from renowned institutions.
