Alberto (Beto) Casellas currently serves as the CEO of the Health & Wellness Platform at Synchrony, a role held since June 2021, and previously led CareCredit from 2019 to 2021. Under Beto's leadership, the Health & Wellness Platform contributes over 20% of Synchrony's total revenues, providing healthcare payment solutions to a vast network of providers. Beto has extensive experience in customer engagement and analytics, having served as Chief Customer Engagement Officer at Synchrony Financial from 2014 to 2018, where strategic initiatives were presented to the Board of Directors. Prior to Synchrony, Beto held key leadership positions at GE Capital, managing significant accounts and directing operations within GE Consumer Finance. Beto began their career at GE in various operations and management roles, including launching a successful ecommerce initiative. Beto's educational background includes a BA in Economics from Yale University.
