Cuiping Zhao has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field. In 2021, they began working as an Operations Manager and Senior Scientist at Synbio Technologies. In this role, they built and managed an operation team, oversaw projects process, and led NJ R&D strategy planning. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Rutgers University, where they managed the Microbiome Core, a research team, and performed BSL2 sample preparation. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Louisiana State University, where they constructed and heterologously expressed Fe-S cluster biosynthesis proteins. In 2015, they worked as a Project Manager at Jiangsu ZhengDaTianChuang Bioengineering InC. Finally, from 2011 to 2015, they worked as an Intern at Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health, where they learned Patch Clamp Recording Technique and basic molecular techniques, attended a project, and constructed and expressed protein KLF4 in mammalian cells.
Cuiping Zhao received a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Anhui University in 2013. CUIPING then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Louisiana State University, which they completed in 2019.
