Leo Liu serves as the Director of Application Engineering and Software Architecture at Synaptics Incorporated since August 2012, overseeing three teams involved in the DisplayPort video interface product line, software development, system validation, and customer support. Previously, as a Senior Staff Applications Engineer, Leo Liu led software development and system validation for video interface products, defining system-level chip architecture and gaining recognition as an expert in DP/HDMI/HDCP within the PC-based video and graphics industry. Leo Liu's career also includes roles as a Staff Applications Engineer at IDT, a Senior AE at Silicon Optix, and a Senior System Software Engineer at Attansic. Leo Liu holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, obtained in 1998.
