David Hargreaves is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in software development and engineering within the technology sector. Currently serving as VP & GM for the Video Interface Business Unit at Synaptics Incorporated since August 2020, David oversees P&L responsibilities, business and technology strategy, and customer relationships while focusing on DisplayPort MST and DisplayLink products. Prior to Synaptics, David spent 15 years at DisplayLink in various leadership roles, including VP Software and Director of Software, where David led multiple software development teams. David's career began at Schlumberger, where notable contributions included developing simulation applications and real-time software for drilling operations. David holds a 1st Class Hons. degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
