Sameer Kathal is an experienced Software Development Engineer currently working at Synaptic since August 2021, having previously served as an SDE Intern there from January 2021 to June 2021. At Synaptic, Sameer has been responsible for performing ETL tasks to process terabytes of GitHub data, developing APIs to compute various metrics, and creating database-powered filters for dynamic entity search. Prior to Synaptic, Sameer interned at Amazon in the Returns Experience team, contributing to a full-stack project called "Voice of Customer." Sameer began their academic journey at Christ Church Boy's School, advancing through Royal Senior Secondary School, and earning a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad in 2021.
