Emily Haldeman is a seasoned professional in the fields of virtual production and immersive technology. Currently serving as a Virtual Production Supervisor at Synapse Virtual Production since January 2023, Emily previously held a similar position at Optic Sky Productions from May 2019 to November 2023. Throughout this tenure, responsibilities included operating Unreal Engine on set for ICVFX productions and leading the creation of VR and AR experiences as an XR Developer. Additionally, Emily has contributed to education as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Rochester Institute of Technology, teaching a course on VR/AR Design, and has experience as a Teaching Assistant in 3D Asset Production and Animation. Emily's role as a Production Assistant for Netflix’s "Hyperdrive" and an Assistant Teacher for coding and video game design further enriches a diverse skill set in tech production and education, supported by a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 3D Animation from Rochester Institute of Technology.
