Gina Spivey currently serves as the Regulatory Compliance Manager at Synapse Health, a position held since March 2023. Previously, Gina held roles at Avalon Health Care Group as the Director of Compliance and Privacy, where significant achievements included the development and updating of policies related to HIPAA and Health Care Compliance, and the creation of the Health Information Management Manual. Prior to Avalon, Gina worked at Golden Living (formerly Beverly Enterprises) in various roles, including Senior Director of Policy Management & Training and Director of Health Information Management. Gina holds a Master's degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare from Grand Canyon University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a Master of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Florida.
