Karen Garcia is a highly experienced professional in sensory and consumer insights, currently serving as the Sensory & Consumer Insights Manager at Symrise AG since May 2011, where previous roles included Senior Sensory Scientist and Sensory Scientist. Prior to this, Karen worked as a Process Engineer at Kelly Engineering Resources from October 2006 to August 2007. Karen holds a PhD in Food Science with a focus on Sensory Evaluation from Louisiana State University, obtained in 2011, along with an MS in Food Science (2006) and a BS in Chemical Engineering (2004) from the same institution.
