Gabriel Njikang possesses extensive experience in the field of process development and manufacturing, currently serving as Associate Director/Director at Symic Bio since February 2015, where responsibilities include drug substance and drug product development for peptide conjugates and supporting INDs and CTDs documentation. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Scientist in Biomaterials Research at Allergan, focusing on new biomaterials for facial aesthetics and sustained protein delivery. Gabriel Njikang also worked as a Research Associate (Post Doctoral Fellow) at Queen's University, contributing to mentoring and research initiatives. Earlier academic pursuits led to a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Waterloo, where the work involved synthesizing amphiphilic dendritic copolymers. Additionally, a Master's Degree in Analytical Chemistry was obtained from the University of Ilorin.
