Sean Cooley is an accomplished sales executive with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Regional Vice President for Stop Loss at Symetra since September 2015. Under Sean's leadership, the Symetra team achieved top rankings in new premium production and block premium growth in 2017 and 2018. Prior to Symetra, Sean held the position of Vice President of Sales for National Accounts at Principal Financial Group, where Sean was instrumental in establishing the National Accounts market in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Sean's earlier roles included Regional Sales Manager at Sun Life Financial, where Sean led the Seattle and Portland offices to three consecutive "Office of the Year" titles, and Senior Group Sales Representative at Genworth Financial, focusing on new client acquisition. Sean holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology and Marketing from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
