John Larsen is an experienced technical professional specializing in software engineering and telecommunications. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at Symbio since November 2021, John focuses on SIP softswitch development and transitioning telecommunications architecture to AWS, alongside CI/CD pipeline development using GitLab and implementing monitoring solutions with the Elastic stack. Prior to this role, John held multiple senior engineering positions at MNF Group, Lorica Health, and Open Telecommunications, contributing to significant projects involving data pipeline orchestration, ETL components development, and large-scale distributed systems. John began a career in firmware engineering at Netcomm and Lucent Technologies after earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Honours from the University of Technology Sydney.
