Sri Nayak has a diverse and extensive work experience in the water and wastewater industry. They started their career as a Senior Design Engineer at HWE in Sydney in 2001 and then moved on to work as a Senior Process Design Engineer at EIMCO WATER TECHNOLOGIES Pty Ltd from 2003 to 2007. In these roles, Sri focused on concept design, hydraulic design, and detailed engineering design for water and wastewater projects.
After that, Sri worked as a Process Design Manager at Econova Operations Pty Ltd from 2007 to 2009, where they continued to specialize in design and review of civil and mechanical works. Following this, Sri joined WJP Solutions Pty Ltd as a Process Design Manager from 2009 to 2010, contributing to the development of detailed design, design verification, and tendering processes.
In 2010, Sri became an Engineering Manager focused on water and wastewater projects at AJ Lucas. During their tenure, they secured three D&C contracts. Sri then moved on to work at Auspro Water Technologies & Operations Pty Ltd as an Engineering & Projects Manager from 2013 to 2016. Here, they provided a wide range of multidiscipline services, including the design and supply of water and wastewater treatment plants, process design management, and operation and maintenance technical support services.
From 2017 to 2020, Sri worked as a Senior Engineering Project Manager at John Holland, where they managed engineering projects. Finally, Sri joined Sydney Water in 2020 and has held roles as a Senior Project Manager and currently as a Principal Project Manager. Overall, Sri's experience spans project management, engineering, and design aspects of water and wastewater industry projects.
Sri Nayak's education history begins in 1986 when they enrolled at KITS College Of Engineering to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Water & Wastewater. This program lasted for four years, concluding in 1990. After a significant gap, Sri Nayak resumed their studies in 2001 at the University of Technology Sydney. They pursued a Masters degree in Engineering, specializing in Water & Wastewater engineering. This program lasted for a year, concluding in 2002.
