Waniel Plate is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in civil and structural engineering. Currently serving as Engineering Manager and Linewide Systems Lead at Sydney Metro since May 2021, Waniel also holds the roles of Completions Manager and Design Interface Coordinator at Laing O'Rourke since July 2019, and Design Coordinator at ACCIONA since July 2017. Prior experience includes managing PLATEINGENIERIA, a structural engineering consultancy, and serving as Project & Design Engineer at INCONSULT CONSULTORES LTDA. Waniel's career began in undergraduate roles at Codelco and Carvallo & Carvallo, focusing on civil and structural engineering projects. Education includes a Major Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures and a Bachelor Degree in Engineering Science from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
