Nathan Hoffmeister is a seasoned professional in project and operations management within the transport sector, currently serving as the Deputy Project Director for the City at Sydney Metro since September 2018, focusing on the Sydney Metro North West extension. With extensive experience at Sydney Trains from 2013 to January 2022, Nathan held several key positions including Delivery Director of Train Systems Operations Maintenance and Construction Director, leading a multi-discipline team of over 200 staff and managing substantial operating budgets. Prior to that, Nathan worked at RailCorp from 2007 to 2013, where responsibilities included managing maintenance and emergency response for extensive rail assets and leading the Bridge Renewal Program. Nathan holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Civil Engineering from the University of Wollongong.
