Mark Ekstrom has extensive experience in education, serving as Principal at Sycamore Community School District 427 since July 2007, where responsibilities include overseeing a K-5 building with 350 students and 40 staff. Additionally, Mark has held the role of Director of Operations and previously worked as an Agriculture teacher from 1999 to 2007, teaching various subjects such as Welding, Agricultural Mechanics, and Vet Science. Mark holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Aurora University, a Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness and Agricultural Education from Illinois State University, and an Associate of Science degree in Agricultural Business and Management from Kishwaukee College.
