Maritza Yamile R. is an accomplished public speaker and content creator with extensive experience in advocacy and education, currently serving as a public speaker at SXSW and as a content creator for Instagram. Maritza has held significant leadership roles, including Secretary and Co-Director at Voter Choice Arizona and Elected Inaugural President of the Youth Health Action Team with the Pima County Health Department. Notably, Maritza is the youngest member of the executive board at Voter Choice Arizona and has represented over 160,000 students. Additional roles include co-chairing the Education Workgroup for the U.S. Youth Advisory Council for the U.N. Ocean Decade and serving as a Vice Chair on the Junior State of America Board of Directors. Maritza's strong commitment to civic engagement and advocacy is complemented by a solid educational background, including a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University.
