Safia Azizi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Safia is currently the Head of Video at SWNS, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a News Editor at Newsflare from September 2019 to September 2021. Before that, Safia worked as a Senior Associate, Domain Expert at Dataminr from July 2018 to September 2019.

Safia also has experience working with renowned organizations such as The Associated Press, where they held multiple roles including Acting Social Media/UGC Editor, International from September 2017 to April 2018, Live Producer/News Output Producer from December 2014 to August 2017, and Platform Curator from December 2013 to December 2014.

Safia Azizi completed a Bachelor's degree in English-Linguistics (LLCE Anglais) at Université de Rouen from 2005 to 2008. Safia then pursued a Master's degree in International journalism at the University of Leeds from 2010 to 2011.
