Luke Mitbo is currently a Generative AI Developer Intern at SwitchPitch, beginning in September 2024. Previously, Luke served as a Reinforcement Learning Specialist at Outlier from March to July 2024, where testing and providing feedback to improve large language models was a primary focus. Experience includes working as an Instructional Assistant at UC San Diego, leading discussion sections for lower-division calculus classes, and serving as a Software Engineering Intern at LumiSource, LLC, where testing and debugging web pages and databases were key responsibilities. A background in retail as a Sales Associate at Whole Foods Market and a Teaching Assistant role at Archbishop Mitty High School further underscores proficiency in communication and mentoring. Additionally, a Marketing Intern role at GFeed involved overseeing an ad campaign that boosted downloads through effective marketing strategies. Luke holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics - Computer Science, both from UC San Diego.
