Christoph Tonini is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as BoD Delegate and CEO at SMG Swiss Marketplace Group since February 2023, Christoph previously held several key positions at Tamedia from April 2003 to July 2020, including Chairman of the Executive Board and Head of Digital Media. Additional leadership roles include CEO of TX Group AG for a brief period in 2020 and various positions at Ringier AG from 1998 to 2003, where responsibilities included managing operations in Romania and Hungary, as well as overseeing finance and controlling for Europe. Christoph's career began as Head of Controlling at Basler Mediengruppe in 1997. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA from the University of St.Gallen and training at the Rochester Institute of Technology, along with studies at esig+ in Lausanne.
