Guus Dekkers currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Tesco, overseeing Enterprise and Consumer facing Technologies, ICT, Digital Strategies, and IT Operations since April 2018. Additionally, Guus is a Member of the Board of Directors at Swisscom since April 2021. Previous roles include serving as CIO and Senior Vice President at Airbus from June 2008 to September 2016, and holding CIO positions at Continental and Siemens VDO Automotive AG. Guus began a sabbatical from October 2016 to March 2018. Earlier in the career, leadership positions included VP of IT for Johnson Controls and various functions within ICT at Volkswagen AG. Guus holds an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Radboud University.
