Alexis Montagnat-Rentier is an experienced engineering professional with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from INSA Lyon, obtained in 2008. Currently serving as the Production, Maintenance & Repairs Manager at Swiss Timing Ltd since October 2022, Alexis previously held various engineering roles at Portescap from 2008 to November 2022, including Principal Engineer BLDC, BLDC Product Specialist, and BLDC R&D Engineer. During tenure at Portescap, Alexis contributed to the development of high-performance motors and managed a team of BLDC R&D engineers, focusing on magnetic simulation, design tooling, and project management, with notable projects including the coil design for the new EC platform. Several patents are pending for motor designs created under Alexis's expertise.
